Tempus

About This Book

The immortalized ancient warrior Tempus comes to Thieves' World and creates the Sacred Band of Stepsons, consummate ancient cavalry fighters. This book contains the pivotal stories from the best-selling Thieves' World series, and more: seen through the eyes of Tempus's right-side partner, Stealth (called Nikodemos), Tempus is more than a novelized collection -- it offers insights into character and glimpses of life in the misty isles of Bandara, where Niko is when he relates these stories, and where he was trained in his msytery of Maat. Tempus is an important book for anyone reading the Beyond Sanctuary series, or the Sacred Band of Stepsons series, or the 2010 Janet Morris and Chris Morris epic, The Sacred Band: all of these revolve around characters whose early development is chronicled in "Tempus."
